Use Case Question - Price Related

Recommended Posts

Hi there! I'm a newbie to the community and I'm trying to learn about CSC and it's intended use. Primarily, I'm curious about how an asset with a fluctuating price is useful or beneficial to gamblers? Is the intended use case to create branded tokens on ledger for various public companies (MGM Coin, or whatever) and they peg those to some price? Or is CSC intended to be something gambler's hold in their wallets and the price fluctuates?

I apologize if this question is regularly asked. I scanned the forum and couldn't find anything. Thank you for your help!

It will depend totally on the Gambler itself and the Operator (Casino, gaming site, Sports bet, etc).

I can see that you are a Zerper ( Not sure if you are in the Zerpening) but CSC will have basically the same usecase that XRP, but exclusively for the Casino Industry. If the gambler wants to hold CSC he might do it, if not, CSC will just be a super fast way to cash in and out his money (CSC settles in less than 4 secs too). Also, as you just said, the BRM will be super handy for all the different websites the gambler wants to join.

Also, it will be like ETH gas for some Operators that might want to release their own token (Check today's news about this).

I recommend you to join the Discord channels too.

Cheers brother and Welcome!!... :drinks:

Thank you very much for the insight!

Okay so, people cash in and out super quick to various casinos using CSC. The casino's have their own "orderbooks" (I have no idea what the nomenclature is), and CSC could potentially act like an on and off ramp between various casinos, etc. The players aren't actually betting with CSC in some sort of smart contract or something?

Obviously there would need to be pretty significant volume in and out of the ecosystem in order to keep the price relatively consistent, which I imagine is an important factor.

But yeah, okay that makes a little more sense if they're really just the on ramp...

This is something that the operator might want too and he can implement. Casino Coin can work on both scenarios.

1. Just like a Bridge Currency (Like XRP).

2. It can be used as a Gambling Currency (Gambling Hodlers).

At the end, The operator will decide wich one will implement or maybe both. :good:

Ok cool, so, it's really a Gateway, of sorts. Obviously this coin is super early days, but yeah, I'm intrigued.

Thanks for getting back to me. There'll be much to develop and I'll be keeping an eye on it!

The volatility also adds another layer of suspense, depth, and intrigue when gambling. Especially since you're not guaranteed that your CSC coin will be worth what it initially started out as when you want to cash back out into Fiat. I guess they could implement some sort of price-lock mechanism to lock-in a price once bets have been made.
