I really would like to share my thoughts on listing CSC on Binance or any over hyped exchange that is not regulated.

Let me say it out bluntly , Binance is NOT a holy grail and listing of CSC does not necessarily mean an instant win for the project! It could be an instant PUMP and definitively a dump after making it even way harder to recover, even making the coin/project less legitimate IMHO.

There are plenty of coins that are listed on Binance that have low daily volume, I've selected NavCoin to present my case further since I think it's a kind that most of us heard of at least once.

NavCoin was listed on Binance on 27/12/2017

As you can see, the hype before and after listing on Binance made a slight difference in BTC value but without real utility the price/volume kept sinking.

You see, what CSC would need is a regulated exchange with FIAT paring where you can purchase BTC with fiat , ideally CSC/Fiat paring but not for speculative traders or holders but for gamblers who will use BRM to acquire CSC and play creating high demand for CSC, with demand volume will come and higher price. All this will happen regardless of sepculative traders/hodlers , since it is the player who will buy CSC regardless of it's price and use it to play on parner operators.

We have really good three exchanges currently that perfectly fit our trading needs, the only time I wish to see Binance as one of exchanges is when CSC will have steady volume of +300k making way less susceptible to market manipulation / P&D schemes.

So Do we need binance to be great ? NO! CSC could succed with ONE  exchange/processor for it's utility.

Those are my two csc that I wanted to share

Agree with all above. Won’t binance being in Malta mean it will be regulated and get fiat pairs...??

Is there a name on the smallest part of a CSC? If there is, I must have missed it or it fell out of my mind.

As per documentation, the decimal of 1 CSC is called Drop ,just as xrp , however I think they did intend to change it.

The current exchanges are great. No real need for Binance but once CSC is in use and players are using the BRM then a listing on one of the major, trusted exchanges would be good. Binance would be a bonus and I believe CSC will become a top 30 if not top 20 coin on CMC in future so I'd expect Binance to list it then.

Yeah that's how I see it too, binance is an add-on but not a must , just wanted to present my case for those asking for binance.

Thanks for sharing. I respectfully disagree. Not targeting Binance per se, however I think that CSC needs enough liquidity to succeed. That means enough supply and demand available (volume) as well as enough fiat available via exchanges or other liquidity providers. I honestly doubt that the current exchanges that list CSC are even close to capable to meet those requirements.

As soon as more (and bigger) exchanges start listing CSC, PnD schemes are inevitable (as long as the crypto market isn't properly regulated). You can try to prevent PnD schemes, but the way it happens right now, listing on minor exchanges without much volume, won't work in the long term (just imho of course), it only buys time as the asset is not easily available and therefore impacts supply and demand.

I'm very curious to see how the market place for CSC will develop. Exciting times ahead!

Honestly I don't see how this is disagreeing, because you are right. The current exchanges currently might not be able to handle the volume and we will need a better options in near future, volume after all will be generated due to utility of CSC while using BRM. However my concern is the perception of binance or any other high volume exchange, that if CSC gets listed on binance as per say, it will be more valuable and get instant volume. And that thinking is based all on purely speculation , hence me saying we don't need any exchange for those to occur since volume and price wilk be driven by players not traders , it's the players who will initiate volume.

OK, then Covesting exchange fits this criteria perfectly.

One of the first DLT regulated exchanges.

Listing is FREE!!

They did a soft launch in December I think and are due to do a full launch any week now.

Fiat pairings and regulation are two of their big selling points.

Covesting plan to undertake substantial marketing and getting a listing there would raise the profile of csc.

I can't see a downside.
