New Wallet Version 4.1.4 released!

Recommended Posts

Bringing this over from general discussion. A check will need to be done during the install process, if there is already an instance running. And installation should fail with a message to close the current wallet. If this is the cause. @MQB FYI. Here's the discussion.

@MQB Do you have two versions of the software installed on your Mac?

According to me there should only be one, with the earlier one being over written by the new one.

Do you have a .casinocoin folder in your home directory? Unfortunately, I don't have a Mac in front of me, so can't try to replicate your error.

@Daniel Keller ?

Yes there seems to be two versions. Because both worked at the same time for a while.

From "application", the old version can be opened but is not working; from "device", the new version can be opened and it's working.

The old version should not work, since it has been over written by the new one. However, since it was open at that time, the links don't seem to have been updated.

I'm sure a Mac expert will come up with a solution here to update the link soon.

Do you have a backup of your wallet/keys? And does the new version open your existing wallet?

Well I have the backup keys and I transferred all my coins to a paper wallet. To have a desktop wallet or not is not even an issue at this point although the new version is up running and working, I just want to clean the icon(for the old version) on the dock.

Great. That was the most important thing that had me worried. But you have brought up an interesting issue. I'm sure the team will take a look at it.

Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with the GUI side of things, so can't be of much help in clearing the dock. Sorry about that.

That's ok. Thanks for your time & endeavor!

Hi Daniel and others.

     I have an unactivated CSC mobilie wallet version 4.1.2 on my android  and when I start it, it does not update to the new version.   Do I need to delete and reinstall the app?
