Wallet Process doesn't shut down - Linux

Recommended Posts

I noticed that the process for the Desktop Wallet continues to run even after the GUI is closed. On further runs of the GUI, more processes appear.
OS : Ubuntu 16.04 64 bit.
Wallet Version : casinocoin-wallet_4.1.3_amd64.deb

Anyone else notice this?  Is this expected behavior?

To reproduce - open the GUI, log in to the Wallet, close the wallet and exit the program.  Then run ps ax | grep casino  and you should find processes still active.

Yes. Please close the GUI first the correct way first. I have 4.1.4 which was handed out to CRN Testers but pushing for the 4.1.5 so we should see that one soon.

My problem is a bit different.  Running on windows 10 laptop, every time I turn the laptop on there are about 4-5 active sessions of desktop wallet running.  When I turn the laptop off I make sure there isn’t any active session.

is this normal?

Im having the same issues on Windows 7.

I had 13 sessions running yesterday which I had to close manually. Very strange.

Same bug as on Unix. I hope testing the new wallet will by Tuesday. And I just saw we will label it 4.1.4

Does this also roll out the fixes that were originally for 4.1.5? Or is that still coming as another release shortly?

actually, I thought we will call it 4.1.5 because the 4.1.4 was unofficial and only contained changes we had for CRNs. However, the official version will be 4.1.4 and it has a lot in it 🙂
