Or, if you are using Google Authenticator and want to keep it real simple. Sorry, just found this. My apologies @Zenkert I meant no harm. Its Saturday morning here and was keen for a little research. Setting up Google Authenticator on multiple devices https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/1066447?co=GENIE.Platform%3DAndroid&hl=en

Not trying to be an ass @Zenkert but all exchanges will use Authy. I just confirmed it to a degree by downloading the App and using it to log into Bittrex (US) and Coinspot (Australia). You can use Authy anywhere where you are instructed to download and enable Google Authenticator and it solves your issue of moving 2FA on to new devices with its Multi-device sync. https://authy.com/blog/how-to-enable-authy-for-binance-withdrawals/

Sorry, should of been a little more clearer with that question. It was aimed at the community. I use Google Authenticator also. I was just looking at the Authy alternative. https://authy.com/blog/authy-vs-google-authenticator/

@Zenkert can I ask you what App you use for 2FA? What App do most people here use for 2FA?

My apologies, I didn't think anything of it. I'm genuinely interested. I guess I went off on a bit of a tangent when doing some research. Thanks for the nudge back

Geez, I didn't know google had actually dropped support for 2FA Google wants you to stop using its SMS two-factor sign-in SMS isn't secure, so Google will start pushing its users across to its prompt-based 2-Step Verification. https://www.zdnet.com/article/google-wants-you-to-stop-using-its-sms-two-factor-sign-in/ and yet.. Top Crypto Exchanges Still Using Authenticator 2FA Despite Google Dropping Support Google has had none of its 85,000+ employees successfully phished since early 2017 when it was reported they dropped the use of its own Authenticator app and switched to a U2F model. https://bitcoinist.com/top-crypto-exchanges-still-using-authenticator-2fa-despite-google-dropping-support/ Wow.

Hey @Zenkert just looking into it now, but there seems to be a good alternative to Google 2FA - https://www.google.com/search?q=hydro 2fa https://www.hydrogenplatform.com/hydro-app https://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Ahydrogenplatform.com+2fa Thanks for setting up this post, its prompted me to look for alternatives, and there appears to be some more secure alternatives than Google's 2FA!

Hey @Zenkert sorry to be that guy, but there are a lot of potential security flaws with using mobile 2FA that was only just recently brought to my attention. Thought I would share. - SMS Two Factor Authentication https://www.google.com/search?q=dangers of mobile 2FA - SIM Swapping https://www.google.com/search?q=SIM swapping But to answer your question you can move Google Authenticator to a new mobile phone by heading to Google's two step verification page: https://accounts.google.com/b/0/SmsAuthSettings. Step by step instructions here: (its a crummy page though, even my adblocker doesn't do a good job) https://www.cnet.com/how-to/how-to-move-google-authenticator-to-a-new-device/
